Summary 

The Sales and Business Development Consultant –(Consultant) will support the attainment of Y-ATG’s revenue objectives in the country (the “Territory”). The Consultant will interact with the Y-ATG sales organization and will interface regularly with clients, channel partners, management, and other areas of the business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Support the management and growth of Y-ATG sales in the Territory by driving new revenue with channel partners and dealers.

• Expand existing customer relationships to drive growth in each account.

• Expand the channel network in the Territory refining it for performance and revenue success in key segments.

• Meet or exceed revenue targets 

• Partner with channel and dealers to promote Y-ATG brands, educate local sales reps and customers, communicate promotions and optimize opportunities to drive revenue results.

• Deliver compelling product presentations to expand product knowledge, understanding of product and customer support

• Report regularly to management on forecast, sales pipeline and sales results

• Travel in the Territory to all channel partners and dealers (approximately 70-80%).

• Attend customer sales calls with partners to assist in closing business in the Territory region.

• Communicate with sales and supply chain personnel at Y-ATG.

• Collaborate with and support sales and marketing efforts to roll out regular promotions and product marketing materials that will enhance partner success and customer awareness.

• Support and implement sales strategy developed by Y-ATG and Y-ATGA personnel

• Support and implement Y-ATG’s marketing and sales programs and initiatives in the Territory.

•Prospecting will involve acquiring new customers or replacing existing ones.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field

• 8+ years of experience selling tires or similar B2B sales experience with preference given to those whose experience most closely aligns the specific position

• Previous experience successfully growing new and existing business in an assigned region

• Demonstrated experience selling through a channel or dealer network

• Excellent ability to work independently using proactive selling skills to create new relationships and foster the existing ones.

• Industry knowledge. 

• Excellent communication skills – English required

• Ability to travel in the Territory up to 80% of the time

• Resident in the Territory 

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, self-directed, dependable, works as a team player and is capable of learning and communicating technical product information.

•Experience in the agricultural or construction tire sector

• Understanding of importation concepts and tax regulations (crucial to understand taxes and their impact on the business).

• Experience in off the road tires.

• Experience working as a contractor.
