Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Financials Consultant with 4–5 years of expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Workday Financials, coupled with the ability to deliver solutions that align with client needs. You will play a pivotal role in implementing, configuring, and optimizing Workday Financials modules while providing ongoing support to ensure client success.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4–5 years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials implementation and support.
  • Proficiency in core Workday Financials modules such as GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
  • Experience with Workday integrations and reporting tools (e.g., Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer) is a plus.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implementation and Configuration:
    • Lead and support the design, configuration, and deployment of Workday Financials modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Expense Management.
    • Work closely with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
  2. System Optimization:
    • Identify opportunities to optimize financial processes using Workday tools.
    • Customize and enhance Workday functionalities to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.
  3. Testing and Validation:
    • Develop and execute test plans to ensure system configurations meet client specifications.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing and post-implementation phases.
  4. Client Collaboration:
    • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and understanding of their financial system requirements.
    • Provide training and guidance to clients on Workday Financials best practices.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, workflows, and business processes.
    • Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making processes.
  6. Support and Maintenance:
    • Deliver post-implementation support, resolving queries and ensuring smooth system operation.
    • Stay updated with Workday releases and recommend upgrades or enhancements.
